Indianapolis Native Brian Crink Bound for the Bolts

EVANSVILLE, IN— As training camp gets set to move into full swing at their hockey home of Swonder Ice Arena, the Evansville ThunderBolts, debuting members of the elite junior hockey league, the NA3HL, continue the construction of their initial roster for the upcoming 2015-16 junior hockey campaign.

 

On this date, ThunderBolts General Manager/Head Coach Scott Fankhouser has announced that highly-prized defenseman BRIAN CRINK has made a full commitment to the Evansville club and will be on the ice this week for the club’s full training camp sessions. The ThunderBolts GM/Coach has been accenting prowess on the blue line recently as CRINK becomes the third consecutive blue line bulwark to enter and sign-in with the NA3HL team. He was preceded by TRISTON THERIOT and BRETT SIEWERTSEN over the past couple of weeks.

Hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana, CRINK joins an Evansville ThunderBolts team which is developing into a team built around local and state hockey stars and standouts certain to connect with the Evansville growing hockey community. A significantly-seasoned and experienced defenseman of sound and solid reputation in the junior hockey ranks, the 6-1, 175lb 20-year-old is expected to augment an-already outstanding defensive corps for the hometown team. Performing his goal patrol mastery in the WSHL in 2014-15 with the Salt Lake City Moose.

CRINK saw action in 38-games, registering 9-points on 1-goal, 8-assists with 2-PPA, 1-SHA and 31-PIM.

Emphasizing the defensive side systematically for his inaugural team and season, Coach Fankhouser, is delighted with the acquisition of another stellar defenseman. I am proud to add Brian to our well-developed defense core for the upcoming season. Brian will be one of our leaders in the locker room and on the ice as he is one of the older players with junior experience. I am very excited to work with Brian this season and help him achieve his goal of college next year. We have added some size and a big shot from the point in Brian and I can’t wait to see him in action this season. To top it all off, he is another State of Indiana player which keeps our count rising of Indiana- based players that we can develop and move on.”

BRIAN CRINK will be on the ice this week when the ThunderBolts officially launch their full training camp at Swonder.
