A native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Mark originally arrived on the Evansville pro hockey scene as one of nine Muskegon players signed by the IceMen following the club’s elevation to the AA CHL. He became known as one of the more popular, crowd-pleasing personas in the team’s lineup. He commits to the ice through a rough and rugged style of play and conveys his can-do attitude in the form of exemplary community and civic-minded pride and spirit.
Associate Head Coach and Assistant GM
Craig joins the 'Bolts with more than 14 years of experience playing, coaching and scouting junior hockey, NCAA collegiate hockey and professional hockey. He played junior hockey with the Cleveland Barons of the NAHL, where he lead the team in scoring. Craig played four years of NCAA Division I hockey for the University of Alabama In Huntsville, where he had 112 points in 132 games. He played 6 years of professional hockey in the CHL and SPHL. He is in the all-time top ten in goals, assists and points for the Huntsville Havoc of the SPHL, and was recently voted one of the all-time fan-favorites with the Havoc.
Assistant Coach and Director of Hockey Operations
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Ryan has been playing hockey since he was two years old. He attended Robert Morris University where he was a goaltender for the NCAA and ACHA Division I teams. As a senior, he helped the Colonials win their conference championship and earn a trip to Nationals. In addition to his playing career, Ryan has worked with the Pittsburgh Penguins in various capacities, most recently as the head instructor for the Mite Development League at the new UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. Ryan currently serves as the Hockey Director for the Evansville Youth Hockey Association.
Community Relations Intern
Graduating from the University of Southern Indiana in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and a minor in intercollegiate athletics, Lacey has worked with the 'Bolts since January of last season. From Crothersville, IN, she wants to further pursue her career in sports at the collegiate or professional level.
Head of Off-Ice Officials
A native of Evansville, Chris joins the Bolts for his second season as the Head of Off-Ice Officials. He also worked with the Evansville IceMen and ECHL as an Off-Ice Official for four years. He became an avid hockey fan while battling Hodgkins Lymphoma at the age of thirteen when he learned of a player going through the same thing by the name of Mario Lemieux.
Gameday Operations Intern
Jacklen McManus is a Senior at USI studying Business Management and Sports Marketing. She is from the small town of Rushville, IN. She is involved in Gamma Phi Beta and Alpha Kappa Psi on campus as well as a member of Junior League of Evansville. She is passionate about volunteering and getting involved in the community, and loves sports. She is looking forward to this experience to get involved with the Thunderbolts.
Administrative Assistant Intern
Born in Columbus, Ohio, Zach has lived in the Evansville area since 2003 and attended Reitz Memorial High School. The past four years he has been in Bloomington studying Sport Marketing and Management at Indiana University. He graduated in May 2016 and is anxious to get some hands-on experience in the sports industry with the Thunderbolts organization. Zach is excited to work in hockey because of how passionate players and fans are about the sport.
