The Jr. Thunderbolts defeat the Capitals 3-2

In the second, Mcelroy answered for the Jr. Thunderbolts with a goal at 1:24 with assists from his linemates, Creekmur and Rozema. Ladzinski answered for the Capitals with a goal at 8:11 with an assist from defenseman Moore.

During the third period, Rozema answered for Evansville with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 15:13 with helpers from his linemates, Creekmur and Cody.

The Jr. Thunderbolts’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Linenburg as he stopped 0 of the 2 shots he faced. On the other hand, Linenburg’s counterpart, Konin, and the Capitals’ defense did not have such a great night stopping only 0 of 3 shots.
