The Jr. Thunderbolts fall to the Mustangs 4-2

The Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts' defense had a poor night, allowing the Peoria Mustangs 37 shots throughout the game. The Peoria Mustangs took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Ian Mchenry.

Brandon Rozema contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Bauer opened the scoring for Peoria with a goal at 0:24 with a helper from defenseman Power Wayvon. Rozema answered for Evansville with a goal at 3:29.

In the second, Mcdonald answered for the Mustangs with a goal at 3:21 with assists from Groesch and Mickel. Mchenry netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:49 with helpers from his linemates, Healy and Hay. Radley scored a goal at 18:30 with an assist from his teammate Keil.

In the third, Kowalski answered for the Jr. Thunderbolts with a goal at 17:11 with helpers from his linemates, Rozema and Linenburg.

This loss brings the Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts’ record to (8-36-1-0).
