The Jr. Thunderbolts recorded a shutout against the Ducks 10-0 in home game

The Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts struggled against the Point Mallard Ducks allowing Jason Kelly to score a hat trick as Evansville crushed the Ducks 10-0 in a home game at Point Mallard Ice Complex in Evansville. Furthermore, the Jr. Thunderbolts' defense had a poor night, allowing the Ducks 32 shots throughout the game. The Point Mallard Ducks took the lead early in the first on a goal from Jason Kelly and never looked back.

Jesse Stepp delivered for his team with 2 goals and Jarett Green chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Kelly opened the scoring for the Ducks with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 2:29 with helpers from his teammates Polcaro and Goodman. Kelly deposited a goal at 19:45 with assists from his linemates, Polcaro and Kendall.
