The Jr. Thunderbolts struggled against the Ducks 7-1 in home game

In the first, Kelly opened the scoring for the Ducks with a goal at 7:58 with helpers from teammates Green and Herbel. Chun quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:14 with a helper from defenseman Horton.

During the second period, Stepp netted a goal at 7:43 with an assist from his linemate Trombly. Rozema finally put the Jr. Thunderbolts on the board with a goal at 16:35. Trombly answered for Point Mallard with a goal at 18:55 with a helper from defenseman Herbel. Laplante quickly followed with a goal at 19:03 with assists from Kelly and Wilks.

During the third period, Udris scored a goal at 7:17 with a helper from Trombly. Dlugach put in a goal at 15:53 with assists from his linemates, Kelly and Kendall.

This loss brings the Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts’ record to (8-23-1-0).
