The Jr. Thunderbolts struggled against the Jr. Blues 13-1 in home game

The Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts struggled against the St. Louis Jr. Blues allowing Jack Hatton and Jake Cox to score hat tricks as Evansville crushed St. Louis 13-1 in a home game at Affton Ice Rink in Evansville. The St. Louis Jr. Blues took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Daniel Dunaway and never looked back.

Matthew Monreal had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Will Baginski delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

During the first period, Baginski opened the scoring for the Jr. Blues with a goal at 5:49 with helpers from his linemates, Hatton and Galaguzov. Dunaway quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 6:21 with helpers from his linemates, Baginski and Monreal. Galaguzov netted a goal at 9:39 with assists from teammates Shively and Baginski. Hatton scored a goal at 19:37 with assists from Galaguzov and Mcatee.

In the second period, Hatton deposited a goal at 4:32 with helpers from Shively and Cox. Cox quickly followed with a goal at 4:45 with assists from Mcatee and Hatton. Mcatee netted a goal at 9:00 with a helper from his defensive partner, Yurisich. Hatton scored a goal at 15:55 with an assist from his linemate Papa. Cox put in a goal at 19:49 with a helper from defenseman Mcatee.

During the third, Kifer finally put Evansville on the board with a goal at 1:02. Jones quickly followed with a goal at 1:21 with assists from Biffignani and Shively. Cox deposited a goal at 6:33 with helpers from his linemates, Hatton and Papa. Monreal netted a goal at 14:20 with assists from his linemates, Hempel and Biffignani. Monreal quickly followed with a goal at 15:26 with helpers from his linemates, Hempel and Jones.
