The Jr. Thunderbolts struggled against the Jr. Blues 15-1 in home game

The Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts struggled against the St. Louis Jr. Blues allowing Jake Cox to score a hat trick as Evansville crushed St. Louis 15-1 in a home game at Swonder Ice Arena in Evansville. The St. Louis Jr. Blues took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Jack Hatton and never looked back.

Jack Hatton had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Ben Jones contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Cox opened the scoring for the Jr. Blues with a goal at 4:23 with a helper from defenseman Jones. Hatton put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 6:37 with helpers from his linemates, Galaguzov and Cox. Papa netted a goal at 9:45 with assists from his teammates Yurisich and Slot. Carroll deposited a goal at 17:30 with assists from Hohl and Hatton.

In the second period, Baginski put in a goal at 3:06 with a helper from Monreal. Carroll quickly followed with a goal at 4:58 with an assist from fellow Jr. Blues forward Kram. Cox quickly followed with a goal at 5:41 with helpers from his linemates, Galaguzov and Hatton. Baginski quickly followed with a goal at 7:13 with an assist from defenseman Hohl. Dabbs put in a goal at 11:01 with helpers from his linemates, Hazelton and Kram. Baginski deposited a goal at 13:39 with assists from his linemates, Monreal and Jones. Scott quickly followed with a goal at 14:12 with a helper from Rozema. Cox answered for the Jr. Blues with a goal at 17:46 with assists from his linemates, Galaguzov and Carroll.

During the third period, Jones deposited a goal at 11:36 with helpers from Jones and Baginski. Shively put in a goal at 15:30 with an assist from Jones.
