The Jr. Thunderbolts struggled against the Jr. Blues 8-3 in home game

The Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts' defense had a poor night, allowing the St. Louis Jr. Blues 33 shots throughout the game. The St. Louis Jr. Blues took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Jack Hatton.

Austin Cody did his part, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Brandon Rozema delivered for his team with 2 assists. Ethan Dabbs contributed with 2 goals and Jake Cox chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

During the first, Galaguzov opened the scoring for St. Louis with a goal at 4:30 with a helper from fellow Jr. Blues forward Hatton. Creekmur quickly followed with a goal at 4:38 with helpers from his linemates, Rozema and Cody. Cody netted a goal at 7:04 with assists from Joensson and Fennell. Scott deposited a goal at 13:29 with helpers from his linemates, Cody and Rozema. Cox quickly followed with a goal at 13:54 with assists from Hatton and Mcatee.

In the second, Dabbs scored a goal at 3:26 with a helper from Papa. Hatton put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:26 with an assist from Cox. Shively netted a goal at 18:43 with helpers from Dunaway and Capkovic.

During the third, Dabbs deposited a goal at 6:00 with an assist from defenseman Caito. Cox quickly followed with a goal at 7:15 with helpers from his linemates, Hatton and Galaguzov. Hatton scored a goal at 14:02 with assists from teammates Galaguzov and Mcatee.

This loss brings the Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts’ record to (6-10-0-0).
