The Jr. Thunderbolts struggled against the Mustangs 5-2 in home game

The Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts' defense had a poor night, allowing the Peoria Mustangs 27 shots throughout the game. The Peoria Mustangs took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Ian Mchenrey and never looked back.

During the first, Cardinale Iii opened the scoring for Evansville with a goal at 3:56 with a helper from Alvegran. Keil answered for Peoria with a goal at 7:50 with assists from his linemates, Miller and Radley. Power-Wayvon quickly followed with a goal at 9:38 with helpers from Finley and Healy. Mchenrey netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:56.

In the second, Miller put in a goal at 8:07 with an assist from Radley.

In the third period, Kifer answered for Evansville with a goal at 5:03. Keil quickly followed with a goal at 5:57 with a helper from fellow Mustangs forward Radley.

This loss brings the Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts’ record to (2-1-0-0).
