In April 2018 Team was taken over by New local ownership - Genesis Hockey Development. Restructuring is underway with a strong focus on building not only strong hockey players but community involved leaders who will be involved in hockey development in the Evansville area. Part of that restructure involved hiring new head coach Mike Guzzo and securing tutors to help improve players SAT/ACT scores to enable the team to better promote our players to college level play if they choose that direction.
July 2018 Evansville Jr Thunderbolts acquire new Assistant Coach Pat Lacelle. Pat, an Ottawa Canada native, has been involved in hockey for 24 years.
