ThunderBolts Continue to Grow Its Roster for 2015-2016 Season

EVANSVILLE, IN— With their debut looming on the near horizon as a new franchise in the elite junior hockey league, the NA3HL, the Evansville ThunderBolts continue to make some positive inroads in growing their roster for the 2015-16 season. 

Under the direction of General Manager/Head Coach Scott Fankhouser, the newly-minted ThunderBolts have selected seven players in the League’s annual draft. Included in the seven selected are two players from the State of Michigan by way of Detroit Catholic Central; two players from Nebraska through Omaha AAA; with the states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Illinois also being represented.

The ThunderBolts will be conducting a Tryout Camp the weekend of August 15th and August 16th at their hockey home of Swonder Ice Arena. Each session will be scheduled from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The ThunderBolts Tryout Camp is open to the public. 

The ‘Bolts maiden voyage campaign commences the weekend of September 4th and September 5th at St. Louis where the Junior Blues will host Evansville’s junior outfit. 

The ThunderBolts home opening weekend is set for September 18th and September 19th from Swonder with the Point Mallard Ducks furnishing the fractious foes with opening face-off both nights at 7:30pm.
