The Evansville Thunderbolts are proud to announce that Forward Brandon Bornkamp has signed a tender for the 2015-2016 season. In 2013-2014 Bornkamp (5’9", 170) played 16 games with the Indiana Junior Ice 16U netting 11 points in 16 games comprised of 3 goals and 8 assists. In 2014-2015 Brandon played 44 games of high school hockey with the Carroll Chargers amassing 56 goals and 47 assists for 103 points in total. This season also saw Brandon help the Chargers compete at the High School Nationals and be selected to the all-star Team Indiana. Brandon is the leading point scorer in all of Indiana High School.
“I have watched Brandon all year in Fort Wayne and his speed and skill are his greatest attributes”, said Thunderbolts Head Coach and GM Scott Fankhouser. “In Brandon the Thunderbolts have found a player with both scoring and play-making abilities. I expect great things this year from Brandon and I know with his passion for the game, he does as well. The Thunderbolts are proud to add yet another Indiana player to our ranks and can’t wait to see them shine in the NA3.”
